Located in Southampton parish of Bermuda, Seymour’s Pond is a nature reserve spanning 2.5 acres of area. If you are looking for a secluded and a romantic area in the parish, Seymour Pond can be the place for you. The nature reserve is a haven for different kinds of birds, many of which come here to nest. This reserve is managed by Bermuda Audubon Society. They established the pond and the associated area as the nature reserve in 1963, one of their first ventures. As you go along the Middle road, the reserve is located at the Barnes’ Corner near the junction of the South Road. The reserve has a large pond backed by dense forest area on a hillside. There are farm lands and more wooded areas towards the west. You can take bus #7 or 8 to reach the Barnes’ Corner in Southampton parish where the reserve is located.
