Captain Mike and his crew look forward to welcoming you on board Reef Explorer, Bermuda’s large and spacious custom-built glass bottom boat. Join them for a unique experience on Bermuda’s turquoise waters, visiting reefs, wrecks, beaches and coves. Learn about Bermuda’s history and architecture as you sightsee through harbours and inlets on the way to the reefs. When the lower floor hatches are removed, the awesome glass bottom reveals the magical wonders of life below the ocean. The experienced crew explain about Bermuda’s fish and coral species as you view marine life and the Vixen shipwreck through the glass. Then the Reef Explorer visits the green turtles who inhabit the sand flats at Turtle Cove.
Join the Glass Bottom Snorkel Adventure for a stop in a secluded cove where you can swim about in waist deep water or join a guide on a snorkeling tour. For guests who prefer not to snorkel, but float above the water, there are kayaks and noodles. There are cold refreshments and snacks available on board.
The Pirate Adventure is an evening cruise where the captain shares exciting stories of Bermuda’s privateering days and special sub-sea lights illuminate the reefs for night viewing. All tours may be booked online.
The Reef Explorer departs from next to the Hamilton Ferry Terminal, Front Street, Hamilton, and is available for private charter. She can comfortably hold 120 passengers and is equipped with the necessary safety equipment. All crew are CPR trained.
