Jubilee Park was officially opened to the public in 2002 to honour the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. It is off the typical tourism route but is popular with local neighbourhood residents. Located on the northeast edge of the city, this 2-acre park is a great place to go for a stroll or just to relax in a green setting. The pond, which has water lilies on it to give a sense of relaxation, has fencing on all sides to make it a safe area for young children.
