Visit Horseshoe Bay Beach, Bermuda’s Most Famous Beach
Listed as one of the best beaches in the world, Horseshoe Bay Beach is the island’s most famous, with soft, salmon-coloured sand juxtaposed against turquoise waters. That’s why it’s also one of Bermuda’s most photographed sites.
Those in the know like to watch the sunrise from high up on the limestone rock cliffs before the crowds arrive. From May to September, the beach does tend to be more crowded with tourists and cruise ship passengers.
And it’s no wonder: the beach has universal appeal. It’s a great place for families because it features a kiddy beach, its staffed by lifeguards and there’s a low tide. You can also buy food and rent umbrellas.
Older beach goers enjoy the large reefs and chance to see varied marine life during snorkelling excursions. There’s lots to do out of the water, too, like jogging, playing volleyball or relaxing.
