Jobson’s Cove may be tiny, but this sheltered spot, surrounded by steep, jagged rocks, is arguably one of Bermuda’s most visually stunning beaches. Take a moment to listen to the waves lap at the pink sand. Put your feet in the calm, stunningly clear waters. Let us tell you about this exquisite getaway and the treasures you will find here.
Unveiling Jobson’s Cove’s Enchantment
Bermuda has many hidden gems to explore, but Jobson’s Cove is special. It’s a tropical oasis with shimmering fine pink sand and turquoise water. Dramatic cliffs surround this beauty, creating a secluded paradise perfect for relaxation. It’s a great place for swimming, sunbathing, and simply unwinding and drinking in the peaceful beauty.
Because the cove is so well protected, it has calm, shallow water that is ideal for families with young children. Snorkeling enthusiasts enjoy the vibrant marine life found tucked among the rocks, and the crystalline water makes it easy to see their vibrant colors.
Jobson’s Cove is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, whether you’re looking for a stunning backdrop for a proposal or a serene, private getaway. If you’re an explorer, take advantage of all the area offers, such as discovering nearby hidden coves or scaling the rocky cliffs to take in stunning panoramic views.
Planning Your Visit to Jobson’s Cove
This spectacular spot is located on South Road in Warwick Parish and is not hard to find. You can take Bus # 7, which runs between Dockyard and Hamilton. It stops at Warwick Long Bay Beach, where you’ll find a short sandy pathway from the main road to the beach. From there, take a sandy trail west (your right as you face the water), and it will lead you to Jobson’s Cove. It’s an easy walk—less than 200 meters.
If you wish to drive, there is a paved pathway from the main road at the western end of Warwick Long Bay Beach. It leads to a convenient car park only a short walk from Jobson’s Cove.
Once there, you will find restrooms but no lifeguards on the beach. Although Jobson’s Cove feels far away from the rest of the world, there are plenty of amenities within walking distance. You can find everything from burgers to an elegant steakhouse, with plenty of seafood options to choose from.
Pack the essentials for a full day of play, including sunscreen, swimsuits, beach towels, water, snacks, and water shoes to protect your feet as you explore among the rocks. You will also want to ensure you have a camera or plenty of room on your phone for all the stunning pictures you will take.
Beyond the Beach
South Shore Park is the coastline that connects Southampton and Warwick. It’s been a national park since 1990, and it’s full of adventures to explore, with a wealth of coves and hidden beaches.
