In recognition of our commitment to high quality care, the Bermuda International Eye Institute is affiliated with the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Eye Institute at the Lahey Clinic. We specialize in cataract surgery, refractive surgery co-management, corneal surgery, vitreo-retinal surgery (through our association with the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute and the Lahey Clinic), occuloplastic surgery and glaucoma procedures. By routinely using topical anesthesia and self-sealing incisions for our cataract surgery patients, we provide a more comfortable procedure with the added plus of a reduced rehabilitation period and quick visual recovery. Bermuda International Eye Institute takes pride in educating patients through printed information, video presentations on advanced methods of eye surgery and treatments. We have another office on Front Street in Hamilton.
