Travel Documents - Visitors must have a return or onward ticket, or other proof on onward travel in order to enter Bermuda. One-way ticket holders could find themselves heading back to their origin before they ever leave the airport immigration area. A driver’s license and/or birth certificate is NOT an acceptable proof of citizenship. Proof of citizenship and passport is also required of adults and children travelling alone or with their parents.

All animals arriving in Bermuda are required to be accompanied by health documents as well as an Import Permit issued in advance by the Bermuda Department of Environmental Protection. The Application for an Import Permit should be made no more than 10 days prior to arrival onto the Island. The animal's health certificate should be no more than 10 days old when the animal arrives. Animal owners who bring their animal(s) for a short stay in Bermuda may be asked to place a refundable deposit on duty. This will be at the discretion of the Bermuda Customs officer.
